  • Session Replay Data: We use third-party services (such as ActiveProspect/TrustedForm) to document your consent to be contacted. This technology records your interactions with the form (mouse movements, clicks, and data entry) to create a legal audit trail of your request for information.

  • Placement Services: To match you with Education Partners (schools) that fit your location and career interests.
  • Communication: To contact you via SMS, phone call, or email regarding your funding eligibility and school options.
  • Compliance: To verify your identity and maintain audit logs required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
  • Marketing: To send you information about training programs, scholarships, and career services.

3. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We share your personal information in the following specific scenarios. Under certain state laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act), sharing data with third parties for valuable consideration may be deemed a "sale." You have the right to opt out of such sharing as described in Section 9 below.

A. Education Partners (The "Match")

When you request information or check eligibility, we share your profile with specific Vocational Schools, Colleges, and Training Providers ("Education Partners") in your geographic area so they can contact you regarding enrollment. A list of our current Education Partners is available upon request by emailing support@tuitionmatch.org. By submitting your information, you direct us to transfer your data to these partners.

B. Service Providers

We share data with trusted vendors who help us operate our business, such as:

  • CRM and Database providers (e.g., Airtable)
  • Compliance and Fraud detection services (e.g., ActiveProspect)
  • Email and SMS delivery platforms

C. Legal Obligations

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).

4. CONSENT TO CONTACT (TCPA DISCLOSURE)

By submitting your telephone number on our Site and clicking "Submit," "View Results," or similar buttons, you provide your express written consent to be contacted as follows:

  • Who May Contact You: TSG, LLC (d/b/a TuitionMatch) and its Education Partners (a list is available upon request).
  • Methods: Telephone calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), and prerecorded or artificial voice messages.
  • Technology: You acknowledge and agree that these communications may be generated using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS) or other automated technology.
  • Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our placement team. You may receive up to 15 messages per month.
  • Do Not Call Registry: You agree to receive these communications even if your telephone number is listed on any federal, state, or internal Do-Not-Call registry.
  • No Purchase Required: Consent is not a condition of any purchase, enrollment, or service.
  • Carrier Fees: Message and data rates may apply.

How to Opt Out

You may revoke your consent at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us, or
  • Emailing support@tuitionmatch.org with the subject line "Opt-Out Request," or
  • Calling us at (469) 608-1489 and requesting to be placed on our internal Do-Not-Call list.

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use cookies, web beacons, and pixels to track your activity on our Site and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, but some portions of our Site (such as the eligibility checker) may not function properly without them.

6. DATA SECURITY

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information (including SSL/TLS encryption). While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Active Lead Data: We retain your contact and eligibility information for up to two (2) years from your last interaction with us or our Education Partners.
  • Consent and Compliance Records: We retain records of your consent (including TrustedForm certificates, IP addresses, and timestamps) for five (5) years to comply with legal requirements and defend against potential claims.
  • Suppression Lists: If you opt out of communications, we retain limited information (e.g., phone number, email) on our suppression list indefinitely to ensure we honor your request.
  • Privacy Request Records: We retain records of your privacy rights requests (e.g., access, deletion, or opt-out requests) for twenty-four (24) months as required by applicable law.

After the applicable retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymized.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our services are intended for adults (18 years of age or older) seeking career training. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
